Coimbatore Police Dogs Win State Competition

The Coimbatore city police sniffer dog squad achieved second place in both narcotic and explosive detection events at the state police duty meet held in Chennai. Narcotic detection dog Madhana and handler head constable M Ashok Kumar secured the prize in their category, while sniffer dog Malar and handler head constable P Senthilkumar also won second place in the explosive detection category. The achievement highlights the dedication and training of the police force's canine unit. Inspector general R V Ramya Bharathi commended the handlers and their dogs for their success.

चेन्नई में हुई राज्य पुलिस ड्यूटी मीट में कोयंबटूर शहर पुलिस के स्निफर डॉग स्क्वाड ने नशीले पदार्थों और विस्फोटक का पता लगाने, दोनों ही प्रतियोगिताओं में दूसरा स्थान हासिल किया। नशीले पदार्थ का पता लगाने वाले डॉग मधाना और उसके हैंडलर हेड कांस्टेबल एम अशोक कुमार ने अपनी श्रेणी में पुरस्कार जीता। वहीं, स्निफर डॉग मलर और हैंडलर हेड कांस्टेबल पी सेंथिलकुमार ने विस्फोटक का पता लगाने में दूसरा स्थान पाया। यह उपलब्धि पुलिस के श्वान दस्ते के समर्पण और प्रशिक्षण को दर्शाती है।
