A recent analysis reveals that approximately 74.5% of buildings in Gaza, totaling 2,45,981 structures, have been damaged or destroyed since October 7, 2023. This assessment, based on satellite radar data from October 2023 to August 2026, indicates widespread devastation across the Strip. The northern governorates of North Gaza and Gaza have suffered the most, with 87% of buildings affected.
