Navratri Begins With Thousands Of Devotees At Vindhyachal And Kashi Temples

The Shardiya Navratri festival commenced on Sunday, drawing thousands of devotees to the Vindhyachal temple in Mirzapur and the Durga temple in Varanasi. Pilgrims formed long queues for darshan at the Vindhyachal shrine after the Mangala Aarti. In Varanasi, Kalash Sthapana rituals were performed at Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and Durga Puja organizers began bringing idols to pandals. Authorities reviewed security and arrangements at the mela area, ensuring smooth darshan and pilgrim safety. Special rituals and adornments were also part of the festivities at various temples.

रविवार को शारदीय नवरात्रि का पर्व शुरू हो गया, जिसमें मिर्जापुर के विंध्याचल मंदिर और वाराणसी के दुर्गा मंदिर में हज़ारों श्रद्धालु पहुंचे। विंध्याचल धाम में मंगला आरती के बाद भक्तों ने दर्शन के लिए लंबी कतारें लगाईं। वाराणसी में काशी विश्वनाथ धाम में कलश स्थापना की रस्में हुईं और दुर्गा पूजा आयोजकों ने पंडालों में मूर्तियों को लाना शुरू कर दिया। अधिकारियों ने मेला क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा और व्यवस्थाओं की समीक्षा की, ताकि भक्तों को सुचारू दर्शन और सुरक्षा मिल सके। विभिन्न मंदिरों में विशेष अनुष्ठान और श्रृंगार भी उत्सव का हिस्सा थे।
