Assamese artist Santanu Hazarika defied parental expectations in 2014 by quitting engineering to pursue a career as a doodle artist. He gained international recognition after winning the Red Bull World Doodle Art Championship. Hazarika has since evolved beyond the 'doodle artist' label, now working as a creative director on diverse projects including murals, custom paint jobs, and visual direction for musicians. He emphasizes his self-taught approach, drawing inspiration from various art forms and continuously learning new technologies.

असम के कलाकार संतनू हजारिका ने 2014 में इंजीनियरिंग छोड़कर डूडल आर्टिस्ट बनने का फैसला किया था। रेड बुल वर्ल्ड डूडल आर्ट चैंपियनशिप जीतने के बाद उन्हें अंतरराष्ट्रीय पहचान मिली। हजारिका अब सिर्फ 'डूडल आर्टिस्ट' के लेबल से आगे बढ़ चुके हैं और म्यूज़िक वीडियो के लिए विज़ुअल डायरेक्शन, म्युरल्स और कस्टम पेंट जॉब्स जैसे अलग-अलग प्रोजेक्ट्स पर क्रिएटिव डायरेक्टर के तौर पर काम कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि वह खुद सीखकर आगे बढ़े हैं और अलग-अलग कला रूपों से प्रेरणा लेते हैं और नई टेक्नोलॉजीज़ सीखते रहते हैं।
