Prayagraj Division Anganwadi Centres to Get Preschool Makeover

As many as 416 anganwadi centres in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj division are being upgraded into "Saksham Anganwadi Kendras" with child-friendly infrastructure and digital learning facilities. The initiative, under the Centre's Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 programme, aims to transform these centres into integrated early childhood learning and wellness hubs. The government has allocated ₹4.16 crore for this upgrade, which includes developing nutrition gardens, installing rainwater harvesting systems, and providing LED screens for digital learning.

उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रयागराज मंडल में 416 आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों को बाल-अनुकूल बुनियादी ढांचे और डिजिटल सीखने की सुविधाओं के साथ "सक्षम आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों" में अपग्रेड किया जा रहा है। केंद्र के सक्षम आंगनवाड़ी और पोषण 2.0 कार्यक्रम के तहत इस पहल का उद्देश्य इन केंद्रों को एकीकृत प्रारंभिक बचपन सीखने और कल्याण हब में बदलना है। सरकार ने इस अपग्रेड के लिए ₹4.16 करोड़ आवंटित किए हैं, जिसमें पोषण उद्यान विकसित करना, वर्षा जल संचयन प्रणाली स्थापित करना और डिजिटल सीखने के लिए एलईडी स्क्रीन प्रदान करना शामिल है।
