Uganda is relocating 12 endangered Nubian giraffes from Murchison Falls National Park to Ajai Wildlife Reserve. This move aims to protect the species from threats like oil drilling and habitat pressures. Ajai Wildlife Reserve is being restored ecologically and is seeing the reintroduction of various animal species. युगांडा ने 12 लुप्तप्राय नूबियन जिराफों को मर्चिसन फॉल्स नेशनल पार्क से अजई वाइल्डलाइफ रिजर्व में ले जाने का फैसला किया है। यह कदम तेल खनन और आवास के दबाव जैसे खतरों से प्रजातियों को बचाने के लिए उठाया जा रहा है। अजई वाइल्डलाइफ रिजर्व का पारिस्थितिक रूप से जीर्णोद्धार किया जा रहा है और वहां कई जानवरों को फिर से लाया जा रहा है। स्थानीय समुदाय भी इसमें शामिल हैं और संरक्षण के प्रयासों से लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं।
