Police in Vijayapura have arrested a 30-year-old woman, her alleged lover, and two others for allegedly murdering her husband and staging it as a road accident. The deceased's wife, Ashwini, claimed an unidentified vehicle hit her husband, Rajshekhar Biradar, during his morning walk on October 4. However, an investigation revealed Ashwini allegedly informed her friend Anand Rautappa Kallur about her husband's routine. Kallur and accomplices then allegedly used an SUV to run over Biradar, killing him. The motive appears to be Ashwini wanting to get rid of her husband.
