Hubballi Municipal Corporation to Procure Tree Cutting Platform

The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) plans to introduce a 'Shaktiman' self-profiled platform for tree cutting and branch removal to prevent accidents. This initiative aims to manage risks from overgrown or weakened branches along roads and in public areas. The corporation will procure two machines, each costing approximately Rs 25 lakhs, to enhance its pruning capabilities, especially in challenging locations. This move seeks to improve preparedness and reduce hazards posed by falling trees, allowing for more controlled and systematic maintenance.
