Times of India · spirituality

The Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority will introduce a colour-coded navigation system for the 2027 Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar to prevent pilgrims from getting lost. Major routes and sectors will be assigned distinct colours, inspired by a similar system used during the 2015 Nashik Kumbh Mela and lessons learned from the Prayagraj Kumbh. This initiative aims to simplify movement, enhance crowd management, and help devotees navigate the vast pilgrimage zone easily. Officials finalised execution guidelines and reviewed infrastructure for the mega event.
