59-Year-Old Man to Appear for 10th Grade Exams After 37 Years

Meghalaya's Sylvester Shadab, 59, is set to take his 10th-grade exams after a 37-year hiatus. He left school in 1989 due to family and financial responsibilities. Shadab is now participating in the Meghalaya's Second Chance Learning Program to complete his SSLC education. He is the oldest among the 9,767 former students registered as private candidates for the upcoming December exams. Shadab aims to inspire others who had to discontinue their studies for various reasons.
