BJP Stages Mock Funeral Over Congress Govt

The BJP's Mysuru City and District units held a 'mock funeral' procession on Thursday, accusing the Congress government of financial mismanagement and pushing the state into bankruptcy. BJP leaders claimed the Finance Department stalled road work funding due to insufficient funds, despite a ₹10,000 crore grant. They alleged the Congress government blames the Centre to hide its own financial mismanagement. Former MP Pratap Simha was also present.

बीजेपी की मैसूर शहर और जिला इकाइयों ने गुरुवार को कांग्रेस सरकार पर वित्तीय कुप्रबंधन और राज्य को दिवालिया बनाने का आरोप लगाते हुए 'कठपुतली जनाजा' निकाला। बीजेपी नेताओं का कहना था कि ₹10,000 करोड़ के अनुदान के बावजूद, वित्त विभाग के पास पैसों की कमी के कारण सड़क निर्माण के लिए धन नहीं था। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कांग्रेस सरकार अपनी वित्तीय कुप्रबंधन को छिपाने के लिए केंद्र को दोष दे रही है। पूर्व सांसद प्रताप सिम्हा भी मौजूद थे।
