Ganesh Idol Immersion To Proceed In K-C Canal

Ganesh idol immersion will proceed in the Kurnool-Cuddapah (K-C) Canal as usual, honouring devotees' sentiments and the Ganesh Utsav Committee's request. Industries Minister T.G. Bharath Gupta confirmed the decision, despite low water levels in the canal due to insufficient upstream rainfall. Retaining walls are being constructed to create a tank-like structure, and approximately 2 million litres of treated water will be made available.
