Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Dipke and two other leaders were detained by Delhi Police at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday. Dipke stated he was there to get arrested, comparing the situation to actions taken by Indira Gandhi. The CJP condemned the detentions, calling them a pre-planned move to prevent their protest at Jantar Mantar. The party claims the detentions violate freedom of movement and demands the leaders' release. The protest was planned against the Chief Election Commissioner over alleged voter-list manipulation.
