Cyclone Arnab: Yellow Alert For 2 Andhra Districts, Red Alert For Oct 27-28

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts on Monday, forecasting heavy rainfall as Cyclone Arnab approaches the Andhra Pradesh coast. Red and orange alerts are in place for several districts on October 27 and 28, warning of extremely heavy to very heavy rainfall. The cyclone is expected to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm and cross the coast between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam by October 28. This severe weather system is likely to disrupt normal life across coastal Andhra Pradesh.
