Leading gastroenterology and hepatology experts, under Prof SP Singh, met in Bhubaneswar to finalise national guidelines for preventing metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) in India. This initiative aims to establish a comprehensive strategy for tackling the growing prevalence of MASLD across the country. The guidelines will focus on prevention measures and management protocols to address this significant public health concern.

भुवनेश्वर में प्रोफेसर एसपी सिंह की अगुवाई में गैस्ट्रोएंटरोलॉजी और हेपेटोलॉजी के विशेषज्ञों की बैठक हुई। उन्होंने भारत में MASLD (मेटाबोलिक डिसफंक्शन-एसोसिएटेड स्टीटोटिक लिवर डिजीज) को रोकने के लिए राष्ट्रीय दिशानिर्देशों को अंतिम रूप दिया। इस पहल का मकसद देश भर में MASLD के बढ़ते मामलों से निपटने के लिए एक विस्तृत रणनीति बनाना है। ये दिशानिर्देश रोकथाम और प्रबंधन पर केंद्रित होंगे।
