India's net direct tax collections have surged by 16.4% to ₹6.51 lakh crore in the current fiscal year. Corporate tax collections saw a substantial 22% increase, while non-corporate tax collections grew by 11.7%. Despite a 14.6% rise in refunds issued, the overall revenue growth indicates a strong economic performance.
