Former Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac has warned that dismantling the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) would significantly impede the state's progress. He stated that projects funded through KIIFB would take at least 30 years to complete if reliant solely on regular budgetary allocations. Isaac accused the Enforcement Directorate of politically motivated investigations targeting former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family. He asserted that attempts to discredit KIIFB by focusing on liabilities while ignoring its financed development projects are deliberate.

पूर्व वित्त मंत्री टी.एम. थॉमस इसाक ने चेतावनी दी है कि केरल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्वेस्टमेंट फंड बोर्ड (KIIFB) को भंग करने से राज्य की प्रगति में काफी बाधा आएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि KIIFB द्वारा वित्त पोषित परियोजनाओं को केवल नियमित बजटीय आवंटन पर निर्भर रहने पर पूरा होने में कम से कम 30 साल लगेंगे। इसाक ने प्रवर्तन निदेशालय पर पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन और उनके परिवार को निशाना बनाने वाली राजनीतिक रूप से प्रेरित जांच का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि KIIFB द्वारा वित्त पोषित विकास परियोजनाओं को नजरअंदाज करते हुए केवल देनदारियों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करके KIIFB को बदनाम करने के प्रयास जानबूझकर किए गए हैं।
