India is rapidly enhancing its defence capabilities with the planned induction of the DRDO-developed Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LR-AShM) between 2027 and 2029. This hypersonic missile boasts a range of approximately 1500 kilometers and can strike targets at hypersonic speeds, reaching up to 12,348 km/h. Initially, production will be 10-15 units annually, potentially increasing to 25-40 units. The missile's complex flight path makes it difficult for enemy radar to intercept, significantly bolstering India's naval defence and maritime power in the Indian Ocean region.

भारत अपनी रक्षा क्षमताओं को तेज़ी से बढ़ा रहा है। DRDO द्वारा विकसित लॉन्ग रेंज एंटी-शिप मिसाइल (LR-AShM) को 2027 और 2029 के बीच शामिल करने की योजना है। यह हाइपरसोनिक मिसाइल लगभग 1500 किलोमीटर की रेंज रखती है और हाइपरसोनिक गति से, यानी 12,348 किमी/घंटा तक की रफ़्तार से लक्ष्यों पर हमला कर सकती है। शुरुआत में, इसका उत्पादन सालाना 10-15 यूनिट होगा, जिसे बाद में बढ़ाकर 25-40 यूनिट किया जा सकता है। मिसाइल का जटिल उड़ान पथ दुश्मन के रडार के लिए इसे रोकना मुश्किल बना देता है, जिससे हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में भारत की नौसैनिक रक्षा और समुद्री शक्ति में काफी बढ़ोतरी होगी।
