Arunachal Hydel Project Gets Green Clearance

An expert panel has recommended green clearance for the Rs 11,835 crore Naying hydro-electric project on the Siyom river in Arunachal Pradesh. This project aims to significantly boost renewable energy generation in the region. The proponent will ensure compensation and rehabilitation for displaced families. Further forest clearance is now required for this crucial infrastructure development near the China border.

अरुणाचल प्रदेश में सियांग नदी पर 11,835 करोड़ रुपये की नायिंग हाइड्रो-इलेक्ट्रिक परियोजना के लिए एक विशेषज्ञ पैनल ने हरी झंडी दे दी है। इससे क्षेत्र में नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा उत्पादन को काफी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। प्रभावित परिवारों को मुआवजा और पुनर्वास दिया जाएगा। चीन सीमा के पास इस महत्वपूर्ण परियोजना के लिए अब वन विभाग से भी मंजूरी लेनी होगी।
