FAIMA has cautioned doctors about the risks associated with online platforms that facilitate booking doctor home visits. FAIMA Chief Advisor Dr. Bibhu Anand stated that accurately assessing a patient's condition online or at their home is difficult, potentially endangering both the patient and the doctor. While acknowledging the necessity of home visits for bedridden or immobile patients, the association stressed that easily transportable patients should visit clinics or hospitals.
