HC asks DU to explain victory celebrations

The Delhi High Court has asked Delhi University to explain its stance on allegations that winning candidates in the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections violated court orders prohibiting victory processions. A bench noted that while some celebrations might be difficult to control, the primary concern is the display of money and muscle power. This comes after the court previously issued notices to candidates regarding alleged violations of election guidelines.

हाई कोर्ट ने डीयू से जीत के जश्न पर मांगा जवाब

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी से जवाब मांगा है कि डीयू छात्र संघ (DUSU) चुनावों में जीते उम्मीदवारों पर कोर्ट के आदेशों का उल्लंघन कर जीत का जुलूस निकालने के आरोपों पर उनका क्या कहना है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि कुछ जश्न रोकना मुश्किल हो सकता है, लेकिन पैसों और बाहुबल के प्रदर्शन पर मुख्य चिंता है। यह तब हुआ है जब कोर्ट पहले भी उम्मीदवारों को चुनाव नियमों के उल्लंघन के आरोपों पर नोटिस जारी कर चुका है।
