Visakhapatnam Zoo Increases Entry Fees From November 1

The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP) in Visakhapatnam will see increased entry fees starting November 1. Adult tickets will rise from ₹70 to ₹100, and child tickets from ₹30 to ₹50. The fee for four-wheelers entering the zoo will also increase from ₹750 to ₹1,000. Zoo authorities stated the hike aims to regulate vehicle movement, reduce pollution, and improve the animals' environment. The revised tariffs were approved at the 16th Governing Board meeting of the Zoo Authority of Andhra Pradesh (ZAAP) on August 14, citing rising operational costs.

विशाखापत्तनम के इंदिरा गांधी जूलॉजिकल पार्क (IGZP) में 1 नवंबर से एंट्री फीस बढ़ जाएगी। वयस्कों के लिए टिकट ₹70 से बढ़कर ₹100 और बच्चों के लिए ₹30 से बढ़कर ₹50 हो जाएगा। चिड़ियाघर में चार पहिया वाहनों के प्रवेश का शुल्क भी ₹750 से बढ़कर ₹1,000 हो जाएगा। चिड़ियाघर प्रशासन ने कहा कि फीस बढ़ाने का मकसद वाहनों की आवाजाही को नियंत्रित करना, प्रदूषण कम करना और जानवरों के लिए बेहतर माहौल बनाना है। आंध्र प्रदेश चिड़ियाघर प्राधिकरण (ZAAP) की 14 अगस्त को हुई 16वीं गवर्निंग बोर्ड की बैठक में बढ़ते परिचालन खर्चों का हवाला देते हुए संशोधित दरों को मंजूरी दी गई थी।
