Indian driver Kush Maini will continue his association with the Alpine Formula 1 team until 2027, extending his contract after failing to secure a race seat. Maini is currently ninth in the Formula 2 standings with 90 points in his final season. Alpine has retained Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, meaning Maini will likely remain on the sidelines. He joined the Alpine Academy in 2023 and has served as a reserve driver, contributing significantly through simulator work.
