Amit Shah Promises Punjab Will Be Free of Drugs

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party will contest the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections on the issue of a 'drug-free Punjab'. He promised the youth and mothers of Punjab that the state would be free of 'chitta' (heroin). Shah accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of pushing Punjab into a drug crisis and vowed to jail those involved in selling drugs if BJP comes to power.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने ऐलान किया है कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव 'नशे से मुक्त पंजाब' के मुद्दे पर लड़ेगी। उन्होंने पंजाब के युवाओं और माताओं से वादा किया कि राज्य को 'चिट्टा' (हेरोइन) से मुक्त कर दिया जाएगा। शाह ने आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार पर पंजाब को ड्रग संकट में धकेलने का आरोप लगाया और बीजेपी के सत्ता में आने पर ड्रग्स बेचने वालों को जेल भेजने की कसम खाई।
