CPI(M) Protests for Poor's House Sites in Vijayawada

CPI(M) activists staged a protest in Vijayawada on Sunday, demanding over 100 acres of vacant government land be allotted to the poor for house sites. The protest targeted the Disneyland site in Ajit Singh Nagar, where party flags were planted. CPI(M) leader Ch. Babu Rao called for two cents of land for every eligible family before the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation elections.

विजयवाड़ा में रविवार को CPI(M) कार्यकर्ताओं ने प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने मांग की कि 100 एकड़ से ज़्यादा खाली सरकारी ज़मीन गरीबों को घर बनाने के लिए दी जाए। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने अजीत सिंह नगर के डिज़्नीलैंड साइट पर पार्टी के झंडे लगाए। CPI(M) नेता च. बाबू राव ने कहा कि विजयवाड़ा म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन चुनाव से पहले हर योग्य परिवार को दो सेंट ज़मीन मिलनी चाहिए।
