Ernakulam District Panchayat Launches Scheme For Tribal Children's Health

The Ernakulam district panchayat is set to implement new projects focusing on the health and educational progress of children in tribal hamlets. Approximately 300 children from 15 tribal settlements across Kuttampuzha and Vengoor panchayats will benefit from these initiatives. The Poshakamrutham scheme, funded by Rs 6 lakh from the district panchayat, aims to identify children up to 12 years old with nutritional deficiencies. These children will receive vitamin supplements and nutritious food kits, including raisins, almonds, peanuts, and dates, distributed through Triveni Supermarket.

एर्नाकुलम जिला पंचायत आदिवासी बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य और शिक्षा में सुधार के लिए नई परियोजनाएं शुरू करने जा रही है। कुट्टंपुझा और वेंगूर पंचायतों के 15 आदिवासी बस्तियों के लगभग 300 बच्चों को इन पहलों से लाभ होगा। जिला पंचायत से 6 लाख रुपये की राशि से वित्त पोषित पोषकमृतम योजना का उद्देश्य 12 साल तक के बच्चों में पोषण की कमी का पता लगाना है। इन बच्चों को त्रिवेणी सुपरमार्केट के माध्यम से किशमिश, बादाम, मूंगफली और खजूर सहित विटामिन सप्लीमेंट्स और पौष्टिक भोजन किट वितरित किए जाएंगे।
