Cockroach Janta Party Protest Sees Poor Turnout, Draws Barely 150 Supporters

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) held its 'Lehra Do Tiranga' demonstration at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on Friday, but the event saw a significantly poor attendance, with the crowd fluctuating between 50 and 150 people throughout the day. The protest was organized in solidarity with recently arrested party co-conveners and founders Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das. Despite heavy police presence, participants carried national flags and portraits of Bhagat Singh, criticizing the administration over the arrests and the SIR exercise. The CJP stated they would continue protesting until Gyanesh Kumar resigns.

कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) ने शुक्रवार को मुंबई के आज़ाद मैदान में अपना 'लहरा दो तिरंगा' प्रदर्शन किया, लेकिन इस कार्यक्रम में बहुत कम लोग पहुंचे, और दिन भर भीड़ 50 से 150 लोगों के बीच ही रही। यह विरोध प्रदर्शन हाल ही में गिरफ्तार हुए पार्टी के सह-संयोजकों और संस्थापकों आशुतोष रांका और सौरभ दास के समर्थन में आयोजित किया गया था। भारी पुलिस बल की मौजूदगी के बावजूद, प्रतिभागियों ने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज और भगत सिंह के चित्र लेकर प्रशासन के खिलाफ़ गिरफ्तारियों और SIR अभ्यास पर नाराज़गी जताई। CJP ने कहा कि वे ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफ़े तक विरोध जारी रखेंगे।
