Gang Held in Ratlam Linked to Rs 40 Lakh Fraud With Indore Businessman

Police have linked a gang arrested in Ratlam for attempting to sell fake jewellery to a Rs 40 lakh fraud in Indore. During remand, one accused, Mansingh, confessed to duping an Indore businessman, by selling fake gold jewellery as genuine. The businessman had paid Rs 40 lakh cash after Mansingh initially gained his trust with a real gold locket. The fraud came to light when the businessman discovered the jewellery was brass.
