Lavrov: Western actions on navigation cause concern

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed concern over recent Western actions impacting freedom of navigation. He stated that European states have detained 12 vessels since January, citing vague reasons like the 'shadow fleet'. Lavrov alleged these detentions lack legitimate grounds and that vessels serving Russian interests are targeted. He further claimed that European authorities coerce countries into revoking flags from vessels, regardless of their lawful operation, to disrupt trade.
