England's Jos Buttler has become the second-highest run-scorer in men's T20I cricket, surpassing Rohit Sharma's record. Buttler achieved this milestone during England's first T20I against Sri Lanka, where he scored 80 runs. His innings took his T20I total to 4,292 runs from 161 matches. This achievement places him behind only Pakistan's Babar Azam on the all-time list. The victory also marked England's 13th consecutive T20I win against Sri Lanka.
