Students at Delhi's Jamia Millia Islamia University are continuing their protest for the 17th day, demanding the restoration of the student union and the announcement of election dates. The student union elections have not been held since 2006. While the administration has promised elections within 15 days of approving the union's constitution and investigating alleged misconduct, students remain unsatisfied due to the lack of a fixed timeline. The university administration has also accused protesting students of vandalism on campus.
