Bristol Brothers' £100 Braille Printer Wins International Award
Times of India - India · india
Two brothers from Bristol have gained international recognition for creating BrailleGo!, a portable Braille printer that costs approximately £100 to build. Tom, 19, and Felix, 16, were inspired by their grandfather's sight loss and their mother's work with the visually impaired to develop a more accessible solution for producing Braille documents. Their innovative device, made with readily available components and 3D-printed parts, aims to help individuals and smaller organisations with limited budgets.
