VTU Introduces Minor Degrees for Skill Enhancement and Entrepreneurship

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has launched online minor degree programmes to boost engineering students' skill sets and foster entrepreneurship. These five-semester courses, requiring 18 credits, can be pursued from the fourth semester with a CGPA of 5.0, even with backlogs, and must be completed before the eighth semester. The initiative aims to equip students with diversified skills to meet industry demands and bridge disciplinary boundaries. Open to all affiliated and autonomous college students, these degrees are earned concurrently with the main BE/BTech programme.
