Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board Chairman Dr. P. Krishnaiah conducted surprise inspections of industries in SPSR Nellore district. He reviewed pollution control systems and directed companies like GRI Towers and Sentini Pipes to develop designated greenbelt areas. Specific directives included completing plantation drives, implementing afforestation, and managing waste scientifically. Industries must also comply with plastic waste management rules and submit action reports on compliance within a stipulated time. Negligence in environmental standards will not be tolerated, with appropriate action promised.

आंध्र प्रदेश प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष डॉ. पी. कृष्णाया ने एस.पी.एस.आर. नेल्लोर जिले में उद्योगों का अचानक निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने प्रदूषण नियंत्रण प्रणालियों की समीक्षा की और जीआरआई टावर्स और सेंटिनी पाइप्स जैसी कंपनियों को नामित हरित पट्टी क्षेत्रों को विकसित करने का निर्देश दिया। विशिष्ट निर्देशों में वृक्षारोपण अभियान पूरा करना, वनीकरण लागू करना और कचरे का वैज्ञानिक प्रबंधन शामिल था। उद्योगों को प्लास्टिक कचरा प्रबंधन नियमों का भी पालन करना होगा और निर्धारित समय के भीतर अनुपालन पर कार्रवाई रिपोर्ट जमा करनी होगी। पर्यावरण मानकों में लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी, और उचित कार्रवाई का वादा किया गया है।
