US F35 Jet Parts Reached China, Pentagon Investigates

Two key parts of the US F35 stealth fighter jet, the cockpit canopy and weapons-bay door, have reportedly reached Hong Kong, raising concerns in the Pentagon. The F35 Joint Program Office acknowledged a shipment issue and is working with US officials and industry partners to retrieve the parts and investigate. Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles confirmed the parts arrived in Hong Kong but stated they are not sensitive equipment.
