BJP MLA Slams Bus Fare Hike, Demands CM's Resignation

A BJP MLA has strongly criticized the Karnataka government's recent bus fare increase, accusing the Congress administration of financially crippling the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) through its guarantee schemes. The MLA alleged the formation of a fare regulatory committee was a mere formality to justify the hike. He highlighted that fares have risen by 23% for KSRTC and 35% for BMTC, imposing a significant burden on ordinary citizens.

एक भाजपा विधायक ने कर्नाटक सरकार द्वारा हाल ही में बस किराया बढ़ाने की कड़ी आलोचना की है। उन्होंने कांग्रेस सरकार पर अपनी गारंटी योजनाओं के जरिए कर्नाटक राज्य सड़क परिवहन निगम (KSRTC) को आर्थिक रूप से पंगु बनाने का आरोप लगाया। विधायक ने आरोप लगाया कि किराया नियामक समिति का गठन केवल किराया वृद्धि को सही ठहराने के लिए एक औपचारिकता थी। उन्होंने बताया कि KSRTC के लिए किराया 23% और BMTC के लिए 35% बढ़ा है, जिससे आम नागरिकों पर भारी बोझ पड़ा है।
