BBC World · world

King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, was struck by a projectile on Sunday, causing a fire and injuries. This marks the second attack on the airport in as many days, following a strike on Saturday that killed 13 people and injured 308. Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attacks, warning airlines against using Saudi airports and airspace. The Houthis stated their actions were in response to Saudi Arabia's support for government forces in Yemen's civil war and an earlier air strike on Sanaa airport.
