AAP Protests BJP Over Rs 3000 Monthly Dole For Women

AAP protested against BJP functionary BL Santosh in Panaji for allegedly rejecting a demand to increase the Griha Aadhar allowance from Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,000 per month. AAP claimed Santosh responded misogynistically to the demand, which was raised by a woman BJP MLA, and called it a display of the BJP's anti-women mindset. AAP Goa president Valmiki Naik criticised Santosh's stance, noting the allowance has not changed in a decade despite inflation.
