Delhi Police Designates 3 New Protest Sites, Jantar Mantar De-Notified

Delhi Police has designated Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground in East Delhi as new official sites for protests and demonstrations, while removing Jantar Mantar from this list. This decision follows recommendations from a committee formed by the Union Home Ministry to explore alternative locations for citizens to exercise their right to protest. Revised standard operating procedures for these new venues will be issued separately.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने रामलीला मैदान, बुराड़ी ग्राउंड और पूर्वी दिल्ली के सीबीडी ग्राउंड को विरोध प्रदर्शनों के लिए नई आधिकारिक जगहें तय कर दिया है, जबकि जंतर मंतर को इस सूची से हटा दिया गया है। यह फैसला केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा गठित एक समिति की सिफारिशों के बाद आया है, जिसने नागरिकों को विरोध करने के अपने अधिकार का प्रयोग करने के लिए वैकल्पिक स्थानों का पता लगाया था। इन नई जगहों के लिए संशोधित मानक संचालन प्रक्रियाएं अलग से जारी की जाएंगी।
