Bengal Govt's First Six Months Are Just 'Tea and Biscuits': CM Suvendu Adhikari

Times of India · politics

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari stated in the assembly that the BJP-led state government's work in its initial six months was merely "morning tea and biscuits," with breakfast and lunch yet to come. He highlighted the government's development agenda, asserting that policies do not discriminate based on religion, citing the BJP's electoral success in minority-dominated Rejinagar as proof. Adhikari pointed to the significant lead his candidate secured from minority booths, suggesting that minorities are now trusting the BJP for development over being used as a vote bank.
