G20 ministers have skipped a group photo opportunity in Iran, reflecting ongoing rifts caused by the Russia-Ukraine war. European leaders have previously avoided photo sessions with Russian delegations at earlier G20 meetings this year. This action underscores the international divisions and diplomatic challenges arising from Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. The absence from the photo op highlights the continued geopolitical tensions impacting global forums.
