Mysuru Palace Cannons Ready For Dasara Elephants

Antique cannons at the Mysuru palace were offered puja on Friday to prepare for a firing exercise. This event aims to familiarise the Dasara elephants with the sound of gunfire. During the Jamboo Savari on Vijayadashami, a 21-cannon salute will be fired. The familiarisation programme is conducted multiple times to ensure the elephants do not panic. Senior police officials attended the puja ceremony.
