Qatar and France have jointly called for freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza. The leaders stressed the importance of restoring unimpeded passage through the strait, condemning Iranian military attacks in the region. They also urged Israeli forces to withdraw from Gaza according to agreed arrangements and demanded the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid. Both nations reiterated their opposition to West Bank annexation and called for an end to Israeli settlement policies.
