Actor Imran Khan Challenges Expulsion Order From India

Actor Imran Khan has filed a petition with the Bombay High Court to challenge a notice from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office ordering him to leave India by October 28. The notice followed his brief detention during a demonstration in Mumbai. Khan's plea argues that he has lived in India since age two, where his family and livelihood are based, and that the expulsion is disproportionate. The registration authority has also issued a fresh show-cause notice to the actor.

अभिनेता इमरान खान ने बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में एक याचिका दायर कर विदेशियों क्षेत्रीय पंजीकरण कार्यालय के उस नोटिस को चुनौती दी है जिसमें उन्हें 28 अक्टूबर तक भारत छोड़ने का आदेश दिया गया है। यह नोटिस मुंबई में एक प्रदर्शन के दौरान उनकी संक्षिप्त हिरासत के बाद आया था। खान की याचिका में कहा गया है कि वह दो साल की उम्र से भारत में रह रहे हैं, जहाँ उनका परिवार और आजीविका है, और यह निष्कासन अनुपातहीन है। पंजीकरण प्राधिकरण ने अभिनेता को एक नया कारण बताओ नोटिस भी जारी किया है।
