UP Aided Schools Mandate TET for TGT Recruitment

Uttar Pradesh has mandated the TET for recruitment to TGT positions in government-aided schools. Previously, candidates without TET could apply based on other qualifications like B.Ed. This marks the first time TET is compulsory for TGT roles in these institutions. A relaxation allows candidates, to obtain a valid TET certificate. The Secondary Education Department has issued revised recruitment rules incorporating this eligibility, with the notification for over 15,000 proposed vacancies expected soon.

उत्तर प्रदेश ने सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों में टीजीटी पदों पर भर्ती के लिए टीईटी को अनिवार्य कर दिया है। पहले, टीईटी के बिना उम्मीदवार बी.एड. जैसी अन्य योग्यताओं के आधार पर आवेदन कर सकते थे। यह पहली बार है जब इन संस्थानों में टीजीटी भूमिकाओं के लिए टीईटी अनिवार्य है। एक छूट उम्मीदवारों को वैध टीईटी प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त करने की अनुमति देती है। माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग ने इस पात्रता को शामिल करते हुए संशोधित भर्ती नियम जारी किए हैं, जिसमें जल्द ही 15,000 से अधिक संभावित रिक्तियों के लिए अधिसूचना की उम्मीद है।
