Jordan's air force conducted strikes on militant hideouts in southern Syria, which it claims were linked to a deadly church attack in Jordan last week. Jordanian security forces had earlier arrested three suspects involved in the terrorist attack on the Hammoud Church, which killed nine people and injured 40. The suspects reportedly put up fierce resistance during their capture. Syria, however, presented a different account, stating that at least five civilians were killed in the Jordanian strikes and launched its own investigation.
