Haryana triathlete Mannat Saini secured a bronze medal at Ironman 70.3 Goa despite suffering painful jellyfish stings during the swimming segment. The stings caused severe muscle cramps during the final running stretch, causing him to briefly stop and miss the silver medal by a narrow margin. Saini competed against nearly 2,000 athletes from 30 countries in the challenging half-Ironman event, which includes swimming, cycling, and running. This achievement qualifies him for the World Championship for the second consecutive year.
