₹24.5 Crore Cocaine Found Hidden in Chocolate Tubes at Hyderabad Airport

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials at Hyderabad's RGI Airport seized 4.9 kg of cocaine, valued at approximately ₹24.5 crore, from an Indian passenger arriving from Doha. The drugs were concealed within tubes of Lindt chocolate. Officials found 207 capsules of cocaine hidden among the chocolates after noticing the tubes were unusually heavy. The passenger has been arrested under the NDPS Act and sent to judicial remand. Investigators are examining his travel history and phone records to trace the drug network.

हैदराबाद के RGI एयरपोर्ट पर डायरेक्टरेट ऑफ रेवेन्यू इंटेलिजेंस (DRI) के अधिकारियों ने दोहा से आए एक भारतीय यात्री से करीब ₹24.5 करोड़ का 4.9 किलोग्राम कोकीन जब्त किया है। यह ड्रग्स लिंड्ट चॉकलेट की ट्यूबों में छिपाया गया था। अधिकारियों ने चॉकलेट के बीच 207 कोकीन की कैप्सूल पाईं, क्योंकि ट्यूबें असामान्य रूप से भारी लग रही थीं। यात्री को NDPS एक्ट के तहत गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है। ड्रग्स नेटवर्क का पता लगाने के लिए उसकी यात्रा इतिहास और फोन रिकॉर्ड की जांच की जा रही है।
