Durga Puja Celebrations Highlight Need For Wildlife Conservation

Times of India · environment

During Durga Puja celebrations in Bhopal, the TT Nagar Kalibari is raising awareness for wildlife conservation. A poster by the Shri Durga Puja Samiti urges people to allow animals to live freely in their natural habitats instead of keeping them captive. The message draws a parallel between the safety of a mother's lap and the necessity of protecting animals in their natural surroundings. By connecting the nurturing image of Maa Durga with Mother Nature, the committee aims to remind devotees that respect for life should encompass wildlife protection.
