Avengers: Doomsday Set For China IMAX Release; Dune 3 Postponed

Times of India · entertainment

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is slated for a premium IMAX release in China on December 16, two days before its US debut. This move could give the Marvel film a significant advantage, especially as ‘Dune: Part Three’ has reportedly postponed its China release to December 31. This scheduling shift means ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will have an exclusive two-week IMAX window in China without direct competition from the science-fiction epic. The Marvel franchise has a strong box office history in China, with ‘Endgame’ earning over 4 billion yuan.
